Edible Cookie Dough is safe to eat by the spoonful and you can lick the bowl clean! Edible Cookie Dough is the perfect dessert to keep in your fridge for when you need a little something. The best part is you can mix in whatever you’d like to make your favorite type of cookie.

Serves 22/2 tablespoons servings

Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup salted butter, room temperature
2/3 cup light brown sugar
2/3 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

One variety
3/4 cups semi-sweet mini chocolate chips or rainbow jimmies or butterscotch chips and pretzel sticks

Three varieties
1/4 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
1/4 cup rainbow jimmies
1/4 cup butterscotch chips
1/4 cup pretzel sticks, broken into thirds

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F/177°C. Evenly spread flour on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; bake for 5 minutes.*

2. In a large bowl, or stand mixer, add butter, light brown sugar, and white sugar. Mix together on medium speed until butter and sugars are creamed together.

3. On low speed, mix in milk and vanilla extract until fully combined. Slowly adding in flour until fully combined.

4. One variety: Add the mix in of your choice and gently mix until incorporated. Three varieties: Split dough into three even quantities. Gently mix in chocolate chips into one, rainbow jimmies into the other, and butterscotch chips and pretzels into the last.

5. Transfer into a refrigerator safe container and enjoy.

Pro Tip: Heat treating the flour kills any lingering bacteria and make its safe for consumption.
