Valentine's Day Dinner
Valentine's Day is an amazing time to get in the kitchen to do something special for your loved one. Megan of Layered by Blayne and I came together to bring you this amazing DIY tablescape and four amazing recipes that will wow whoever you are cooking for. We kept time in mind when putting together this dinner for you so you don’t feel like you’ve spend your whole day creating this.
The Valentine’s Day Menu
Blood Orange Spritz both Vodka & Whiskey options
My goal in creating this menu was to make each recipe easy, a crowd favorite, and give you time to get ready (because who wants to sit down to a romantic dinner feeling like they just spent the last 3 hours running around like a crazy person, I sure don't). The spritz is a versatile cocktail because you make one mixer and can use it with vodka or whiskey; ideal for those of us who don’t prefer the same liquor as our significant other. Creamy Pomegranate & Mushroom chicken starts on the stove and ends in the oven, so pop the Roasted Garlic Purple Potatoes in at the same time and you can have your kitchen back together in no time. For dessert I created a super easy Raspberry Angel Food Trifle which you can prepare in under 10 minutes.
